Newest Mary Rose Fabrics

As a quilt shop that started with shabby and chic fabrics, the Mary Rose collections from Quilt Gate have a special place at Shabby Fabrics!  Full of roses and florals, shades of pink, cream, and lavender, and everything romantic, Mary Rose is a great place to start for many of your projects.  The newest collection, Bella, does not disappoint, with gorgeous toiles...

...romantic rose florals...

...and even three jacquards!

As always, if you can't decide where to begin, a Fat Quarter Set is a great option!

Congratulations to Our September Giveaway Winners!

Our giveaway question for September was How did you learn to quilt?  We received some wonderful stories and it is always fun to hear how many of us were inspired or taught by our mothers and grandmothers!  It was also interesting to hear that a majority of you learned from Alex Anderson tutorials.  Did you know we carry an Alex Anderson DVD?  It would make a great gift for the soon-to-be quilter in your life!

Our winners for September are:

Marcia
Sandy
ScottyLover

These ladies have each won a $25 gift certificate to http://www.shabbyfabrics.com/.

We will post our next giveaway question in early October, so check back frequently!

Shabby Fabrics Exclusive Christmas Designs!

Can you believe there are fewer than 100 days until Christmas?  I have just completed designing a third coordinating Christmas design using the Fancy Hill Farm fabric collection by Robyn Pandolph for RJR Fabrics.   Now you can be well on your way to a festive holiday season!

The Little Garden House in Winter is a wallhanging featuring a giant Christmas tree complete with gift-wrapped presents and lots of ornaments.   A line of ric rac and holly across the top adds extra charm and ties right in with the brand new Holly & Berries Tree Skirt

This 8-paneled skirt is simple yet elegant and will be right at home under your Christmas tree!

Everyone knows you can't leave out the dining room when decorating, and the Holly & Berries Table Runner is a perfect addition to any holiday meal.  This quick and easy project uses charm squares and fusible applique.

Now is the perfect time to get started on these projects so they can be ready in time to usher in the Christmas spirit!

Happy Sewing!
