Country Cottages Block 8!

It's that time again!  The free pattern download for Country Cottages Block 8 is now ready.  Click here to download this month's pattern.  See all of the blocks and download them on our Free Patterns page (always at the bottom of our website).

This month's block features two perky sunflowers tied with a bow and our favorite little cottage!  Beads and lazy-daisy stitches adorn the house.

Here are all of the blocks so far.  Which one is your favorite?

  1. It's hard to choose a favorite, but I love birds so last month was a treat. Love the sunflowers this month.

  2. They seem to just get cuter every month! I always look forward to the next one. Taking this opportunity to thank you for such a wonderful FREE BOM to follow. It's so hard to pick one favorite but I think this month might be my favorite so far. Love sunflowers and love the colors you used in your block! :)

  3. Hi! These are all great designs! Each one different from the last. I really like the May block, my birthday is in May, and I really like the July block with the bird!
Thank you soooo much for your work to design this lovely quilt for us!
    Take care, Leslie

  9. Oh my gosh!!! I'm so, so far behind, only Block One finished completely and Block Two ready for stitch and embellish, *sigh*. But, I have all the patterns printed and ready when I am. Just phenomenal fatigue and exhaustion from some health issues keeping me from doing any sewing or stitching. When I get the things finished around the house each day that need to be done, I sit down and that's pretty much where I stay. And I have a wonderful new machine that is an absolute dream to sew on and free motion on too, what little bit I have learned to do anyway. So, there you have it, I've used up all my excuses for being so far behind, on every single one of my projects, not just this one...but I know that "this too shall pass". I'll never catch up with you guys before this is finished, but I will finish eventually, I'm sure of it. In the meantime, I will continue looking at all the beautiful blocks that you are all posting. Love em! Now, if you'll excuse me, though my sewing machine is calling to me, my bed is calling louder, LOL. Big Hugs all around...
