Give Thanks Block of the Month by Jennifer Bosworth for Shabby Fabrics

Give Thanks is an 8-month Block of the Month Program designed by Jennifer Bosworth of Shabby Fabrics. This 63.5" x 63.5" quilt features pieced 12" outer blocks and an appliqued center block featuring a cornucopia! Program begins in November 2013 and runs for eight months, ending in June 2014. The first 6 shipments will include the pattern and fabrics to complete two 12" blocks. Shipment #7 will include the pattern and fabrics to complete the center appliqued block. The final shipment will include the pattern and fabrics to assemble the quilt, including sashing, borders, and binding. Fabrics will be exactly as shown, from Maywood Studio fabrics. A beautiful backing fabric is available to add below.

We are excited to offer this program in two ways:

TRADITIONAL - this option is for anyone who prefers hand applique for the center block.  Receive your fabrics for the center block as usual. Sign up fee is $10 to reserve your spot, then just $28 per month plus shipping ($4 for US and $7 International).     Unsure of your traditional applique skills? Add our Applique Guide below for step-by-step photo instructions of Jennifer's technique, or the 9-piece Applique Kit which includes the Applique Guide, Applique Stiletto, 3 spools of Kimono Silk Thread, case of 16 Straw Needles, Loew Cornell stipple brush, 50 Sheets of C. Jenkins Freezer Paper, and a bottle of Roxanne's Glue-Baste-It!!

LASER CUT - this option is great for anyone preferring the fusible applique method.  Receive all of your center block applique fabrics already fused with Heat n Bond Feather Lite and laser cut!  All you need to do is peel off the paper, place, iron, and stitch!  No need to spend hours tracing, cutting, and adding fusible webbing to each applique piece. Watch our quick YouTube video to see how it works! Sign up fee is $10 to reserve your spot, then just $32 per month plus shipping ($4 for US and $7 for International).

  1. Hi Jennifer, love this BOM! Just a question-it's stated above that the BOM begins November 2012 and ends June 2013. Shouldn't it be November 2013 and June 2014? Please clarify. Thanks!
