Weekend Project Wednesday | September 25th

I've been eagerly anticipating this day because the project we have to share with you is too cute to wait any longer! On Monday, we introduced You Whoo! by Shelly Comiskey for Henry Glass Fabrics.

You Whoo!

Owls have been one of the hottest trends lately for baby apparel and nurseries. But the stripes, polka dots, and colors are tried-and-true classics, making this a collection you can't pass up! Any new or expecting mom would be thrilled to receive a gift made with love from this adorable selection of fabrics!

Part of the beauty of You Whoo! is that each piece can stand alone and still make a great statement. You aren't limited to just baby quilts and apparel with these fabrics.

A Fat Quarter Set of You Whoo! would work perfectly with Izzy & Ivy Designs' Abbie Applique pattern. The pattern includes diagrams for 22 designs PLUS the alphabet! What precious child wouldn't love a personalized shirt, bag, or pillowcase?

If this doesn't get your creative juices flowing, hop on over to Moda's blog, The Cutting Table, to see pictures of a DIY Onesie Party. Your party is sure to be a hit when you combine a DIY project, adorable applique designs, and great fabrics from You Whoo! With choices including a guitar, peace sign, elephant, frog, monkey, turtle, skull and crossbones, butterfly, cherries, car, airplane, sailboat, tractor, crown, apple, cupcake, flower, whale, bird, owl, gumball machine, and tree, you'll be able to please any baby or child!

Whooo doesn't love owls?

Are any of your friends or family members expecting a new addition? Have you ever hosted a DIY baby shower? Let us know what you think of this new collection and how you plan on using it!
