A Taste of Summer | Citrus and Playful Petals

We appreciate all the comments and feedback on the special Christmas quilt we showed you last week! Now we're just waiting for it to come back from the longarm quilter so we can show you the complete design.

In the meantime, how about a taste of summer?

Citrus by Michael Miller Fabrics gives you just that! As the name suggests, these fabrics were inspired by the colors of your favorite citrus fruits: lemons, limes, grapefruits and oranges.

Playful Petals is a new book by Corey Yoder of Little Miss Shabby. Learn how to make 18 quilted projects using pre-cuts.

While it's great to get a head start on your Christmas sewing projects during the summer months, it's also fun to sew with bright colors fit for the season!

During the summer, do you sew with your windows open?

  2. I ordered the Playful Petals book, it will arrive on Monday. Can't have windows open here in AZ in the summer. Our window opening time is in the Winter.
